Community Works

Redeemer Lutheran Church is committed to helping the community in any way that we can. Below are just a few of the organizations that we assist. If you would like to volunteer or receive more information, contact us at RLCPastor@RedeemerJamison.org.

  • A Woman’s Place is the only domestic violence community benefit organization in Bucks County. We collect donations of used toner cartridges, phones, chargers, headsets, and ink cartridges for their recycling program.
  • Aid for Friends: We prepare meals monthly and also donate extra food after special events such as Redeemerfest and church suppers.
  • Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic. We deliver bagels donated by Bucks Bagels every week.
  • Bucks County Children and Youth: At Christmas, we collect donations of baby clothes and supplies.
  • Food Pantries: Monthly donations are taken either to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Hatboro, the New Britain Food Pantry or the Doylestown Food Pantry.
  • Diakon is a Lutheran Social Services agency. We collect donations and supplies for infants supported by this program at Christmas.
  • Lutheran World Relief: Every month a group meets to sew quilts that are then sent on to LWR for distribution around the world. There is also an annual ingathering to purchase Lutheran World Relief Health kits.
  • Neshaminy Manor: We make flower baskets for residents’ food trays at Easter.
  • Red Cross: We have begun hosting Blood Drives in 2025.
  • SPCA of Lahaska: Pet Food donations when received.
  • Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission: Semi-annual collection of used items for resale and an ongoing collection of travel-size toiletries.
  • Tabor’s Children’s Services: We donate school supplies at the start of the school year.
  • The Welcome Church: We have conducted clothing drives to benefit those who attend the Welcome Church.
