The weekly worship services include participation from both lay persons and our youth. Both participate in the ceremonial duties of worship and are highly visible taking part in the worship service. Our youth enjoy being involved in the service and they are encouraged to be a part of the worship life of the congregation.
This community of faith understands itself through the traditional Lutheran understanding of Word and Sacrament. Whenever we gather for worship we experience both. Each worship at Redeemer includes Holy Communion, and all are invited to participate at the Lord’s Table. We believe that it is the Spirit that prompts an individual to come forward to receive it, therefore it doesn’t matter to us if you at a member of this congregate or any congregation, you are welcome here. Children who have not yet received First Communion are invited to come forward to receive a blessing and a gift from the Table. We serve the option of wine and grape juice and a gluten-free host upon request.
