  Pastor Susan Montgomery

After attending graduate school at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania I moved a little farther west and pursued a seminary career at the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago.   But I guess Chicago wasn’t west enough to suit me, because I soon found myself serving a parish in Minnesota.  Not the warm and cozy Minneapolis/Saint Paul area either – but a parish up close to Fargo, North Dakota.  As wonderful as that was (and it was wonderful) it snowed enough times during the month of May to convince me that I was destined for warmer climes.  Now I am called to serve as Pastor at Redeemer.  This is a wonderful and dynamic parish with a great many great things going on.  I encourage you to visit with us.  I am confident you will find yourselves surrounded by God’s love and by a vibrant and lively and lovely church community.

Dan Colgan
Director of Music

 Dan Colgan is attending the Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ.  He currently is studying voice with Scott McCoy and organ with Ken Cowan. During his time at Westminster, he has toured the United Kingdom, New England, and the southern Atlantic states, on which he accompanied the Westminster Chapel Choir.  As member of the world renowned Westminster Choir has sung and worked with influential musicians such as Sir David Wilcox, Tim Brown, Christopher Robinson, Joseph Flummerfelt, Jennifer Larmore, and Stephen Hatfield, among others. Before arriving at Westminster, he founded the Poultney Area Community Choir (Poultney, VT), and directed the Poultney United Methodist Church Choir and the Poultney Area Community Choir for four years. He hopes that as a music educator and church musician he can spread his love and appreciation of music to others.
